About Me.
Born in New Jersey, I’ve had the opportunity to live and work across the country — from New Jersey and Pennsylvania to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, and Massachusetts. These experiences have given me a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for the many ways people and businesses approach financial and legal challenges.

I am licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Vermont, and Washington, D.C., and am also a Certified Public Accountant. Since 2012, I’ve been providing personalized, timely legal counsel to individuals and organizations facing complex tax and business matters.

Currently, I serve as a Senior Attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where I represent the government in Tax Court and handle a wide range of issues, including fraud, estate and gift tax, and cryptocurrency matters. Previously, I founded Besler Law LLC, where I represented clients in tax controversy, estate planning, and business law matters. My experience also includes roles in private practice and public accounting, giving me a unique ability to see legal and financial issues from every angle.

I earned my J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and am completing my LL.M. in Taxation at Georgetown University Law Center, where I also hold an Estate Planning Certificate.

Whether advising on tax disputes, guiding families through estate planning, or helping businesses navigate regulatory complexity, my goal has always been the same — to provide clarity, confidence, and strong advocacy every step of the way.
