The State of Massachusetts Senate President, Karen Spilka, along with other leaders in the state have announced that they will be taking steps to align the Massachusetts tax filing date with the IRS one. Currently, the way the release is written it appears to only apply to personal tax returns (not estate, gift, corporate, or others). There has been indication however, that the legislation will mirror the IRS's which does in fact include estate and corporate taxpayers.
